Department Overview: City Manager:
. The City Manager's office is staffed by just one
person, Sheryl Mitchell. In general, the
City Manager's
Office is responsible for city operations on a large scale.
The greatest
responsibility of the City Manager
is administrative
oversight of the various departments
of the city,
including human resources public services,
public safety, and planning.
The City Manager is also responsible for preparing
the city budget and getting it approved
by the City
Council. Sheryl Mitchell works with the City Council in other
ways, such
as
making policy recommendations and
implementation
suggestions.
The City Manager's office can be found on the first
floor of City Hall, next to the Human
Resources office.
