Exclusive String Repertoire at the

Anne Springs Close Greenway

The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra will cross the state line for a special performance at the Anne Springs Close Greenway's Comporium Amphitheater on Thursday, May 5th. Popular Summer Pops conductor Albert-George Schram will lead the performance of the works of composers including Mozart and Tchaikovsky. See the full musical line-up.

The Strings at Springs concert, presented in partnership with Carolina Orchards Del Webb, will begin at 7:30 p.m. with tickets available for purchase online or by texting Greenwaytix to 51555. Admission is $10 for Greenway members, $15 for non-members and $5 for kids ages 5-12. Four and under are free. Guests will pay $5 per car for parking or may purchase an annual special event parking pass ($30 for members, $45 for non-members.) For more information about becoming a Greenway member, click here.

The concert will tip off the Greenway's Fourth Annual Summer Concert Series, returning this year in June and featuring 13 concerts through August. A variety of food trucks will be on site for the concert, and beer, wine and other beverages will be available for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring picnics but no glass or outside alcohol is allowed. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for lawn-style seating. Dogs on leashes are allowed.
