This Sunday:  The Church in Corinth
Lessons: Acts 18:1-8; 1 Corinthians 1:10-18

It has been proven time and again that people can accomplish more together than they can do alone. Yet people still try to do it all themselves. Paul relied heavily upon many like Aquila and Priscilla; without the aid of community leaders he could not have accomplished what he did. When those within the church quarreled, he reminded them that their strength is in their unity in Christ, not in their divisions in humanity.

On Sunday, we present Bibles to our Third Graders as they begin a two-week class with Pastor Mark to explore this wonderful "Sacred Library".  Please keep Bella Baylor, Mitch Ewing and Juliet Robbins in your prayers on this milestone day.

"I am Helen Swanson's son here on a visit.  Thank you all so much for your unfailing card ministry and for looking out for my mother. She can't really express her appreciation in this regard, but I know she is thankful and feels your love and concern for her well being. Thank you." - Alan Swanson

We made some Noise!!!

Our Noisy offering collected $ 534 to support the children of Casa Abierta.  Nativity is able to supplement this amount from our mission budget to make it a
full year tuition of $960.
Thank you to everyone who helped us
 "Make Christ Known".

Sewers needed again! There are kits to make drawstring backpacks for Lutheran World Relief that need simple sewing. These kits are located on the table under the women's bulletin board in the hallway to the right as you exit the worship space. In September we will be filling these bags/backpacks with school supplies and ship them with our quilts. Please help by picking up some kits and return them by September first. Thank you to those who have made bags and to those who will make bags.

Women's Lunch Bunch will meet on  Thursday, April 28 , at  1:00 pm at Brooklyn Brothers (located on the corner of Buck Shoals and Sweeten Creek, across from the ABC store) Our hostess is Nancy Seekamp.
