Some youth thrive on competition. Some youth really just want to have fun and could not care less if they win or lose. Luckily, the benefits of sports can reach youth no matter the level of competition
-- as long as that level is right for them.

In our recent article, "Are Competitive Sports Right For Your Child?", we discuss age-appropriate sports options, the benefits of sports, and which aspects of sport parents should look for when deciding which level of competition is best for their child.

This week we have been in Washington, D.C. with over 1,000 representatives from the 206 National Olympic Committees for the 20th ANOC General Assembly. We are proud to be sponsors of this event, which is hosted by The United States Olympic Committee.

As the meetings come to an end for the week, we reflect on the many news items, decisions, and fruitful meetings which have come from this important event.

The World Curling Federation will be in Milwaukee Nov. 6-8 for a stop on the Olympic Celebration Tour.

Since 2013 we have been pleased to support the incredibly successful "Olympic Celebration Tour," which is a program from the World Curling Federation.

The tour continues next weekend with a stop at the Milwaukee Curling Club, where community members will have the opportunity to learn to curl with Swedish Bronze-medal holder, Sebastian Kraupp.

If you are in the Milwaukee area, we invite you to join us for what promises to be a weekend of curling fun and camaraderie.
