DOE 2016:
Three Months In
Three months after the US Department of Energy (DOE) mandated new higher efficiency levels for Low and Medium Voltage distribution transformers effective January 1st 2016, the market is still in a state of flux. While some manufacturers are trying to keep up with the demand for the new DOE 2016 efficiency products, it seems that TP1 efficiency product inventory has been largely depleted.
Early indicators are that HPS has performed quite well during these transition months and has maintained an essential focus on supporting the market with high quality innovative products and competitive lead-times. We relentlessly continue to produce a large variety of DOE 2016 stocked product to cover the needs of the US market. HPS also continues to focus on providing highly competitive lead-times on non-stock LV and MV DOE 2016 efficiency products.
For applications exempt from DOE or destined for outside of the US, we continue to provide multiple Energy Efficiency product platforms that meet the most demanding applications (Marine and Land Drilling, as an example). Our knowledgeable sales force is ready to support you in choosing the most cost-efficient transformer for your application.

HPS DOE 2016 Product Added To The IDW
All HPS DOE 2016 product specifications have now been added to the Industry Data Warehouse (IDW). Authorized distributors are now able to view HPS DOE 2016 Low Voltage and Medium Voltage product packaging details, list pricing, specifications and much more.
About IDW: The IDW allows distributors to access product and pricing information directly from manufacturers.

HPS to Showcase New Product Capabilities at Hannover Messe 2016
For the first time, Hammond Power Solutions will be exhibiting at Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany, from April 25-29, at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds.
Come and visit HPS in our largest booth space to date (7.5m x 9m,) in Hall #13, Stand #D29, where we will showcase a variety of products, including a Cast Resin Transformer and a Water-Cooled Reactor.

HPS Europe Website Updates Reflect Global Strategy
As Hammond Power Solutions expands globally, the need to broaden our language selection on communication platforms is increasing.
The HPS Europe website has recently been translated into German, Spanish and Italian, allowing HPS to build and maintain relationships with international customers and distributors.
HPS plans to add translated Russian content to the HPS Europe website in the coming weeks as part of our global strategy.
