Adidas Blue Chip Showcase Kicks off in April

Kings Hammer is set to host the adidas Blue Chip Showcase April 15-17 (Women's Weekend) and April 22-24 (Men's Weekend). The adidas Blue Chip Showcase has been recognized as one of the top college recruiting showcase events in the country attracting over 450 college coaches from across the country over the two weekends. Come on out and join us for two fantastic weekends of elite level soccer by clubs from 19 States and Canada.
Kings Hammer Summer Camps 2016

Kings Hammer Summer Camps start on June 13th! 

Summer Camps will be run by Kings Hammer Directors/Coaches and are a great way to get in some extra touches with fellow KHSC players!

U18 KHA Red qualify for National Championships

KHA 18 Red girls completed their quest to return to the US Youth Soccer National Championships this summer by finishing 2nd in the US Youth Soccer National League event in Las Vegas in March. They finished the Las Vegas event with three ties to take 2nd place overall in their National Championships in Frisco, TX in July. Congratulations ladies and coach Tiffany Roberts.
KHSC Players travel to Spain for Mediterranean Cup

Kings Hammer members Will Bosley (KHA 13 Red) and CJ Zimmer (KHA 14 Red) were selected to play in the Mediterranean International Cup March 17-27 in Palamos, Spain with ISL Futbol. One of the largest youth soccer tournaments in the world, the y started their trip with a couple of training sessions with a former  FC  Barcelona  player
in Barcelona, Spain, before traveling to Palamos, Spain- host city of the MIC. Bosley and Zimmer were able to play against the FC Barcelona 00 Academy team during the event. This is yet another great opportunity for members of Kings Hammer to experience the culture of international travel and Futbol at the highest  level.

Lilly Zehnder trains with West Ham United Academy

While many kids and families were enjoying Spring Break at the beach this week, Lilly Zehnder (KHA Red U13), was training at the West Ham United Youth Academy in London, England. Selected at the National ID camp last August, this once in a lifetime opportunity allowed her to train with some of the most respected youth development coaches in the world. 

The week-long program was filled with six training sessions, two friendly matches versus the West Ham Girls Academy, and tickets to watch the West Ham 1st team take on Crystal Palace. In addition to this, players were able to stay in West Ham's Boleyn Ground stadium with rooms overlooking the famed EPL pitch.

KHSC Players Travel to Holland with KY Youth Soccer ODP

On Tuesday March 29th, six members of the Kings Hammer Academy Boys program left Cincinnati and headed to Chicago to meet up with their teammates for the next 10 days as a part of the Kentucky Youth Soccer ODP team heading to Holland. Katelynn Gentry (KHA 16 Blue), Adam Snow (KHA 16 Red), Brett Bolin (KHA 16 Red), Hunter Hayden (KHA 16 Blue), Mike Vogt (KHA 17 Red), and Ian Manahan (KHA 17 Red) were all selected for the state ODP team after several training sessions this past fall. 

Kentucky Youth Soccer Association teamed up with Feyenoord Rotterdam to provide an international trip for the 1999-2000 Boys & Girls Olympic Development Teams. Players had the opportunity to travel to Rotterdam, Holland and play/train at Feyenoord who are ranked as the number one youth player development club in the Netherlands as well as take in 3 professional matches. The week long trip took place from March 30th-April 6th. 

Congratulations to all the Kings Hammer players selected to travel to Rotterdam, Holland for the inaugural Kentucky ODP International Trip. We hope you enjoyed this fantastic experience!
Crown Challenge Registration Closes April 15th

Kings Hammer Soccer Club announces its newest club friendly tournament, the Crown Challenge! The Crown Challenge is held in May and is designed to provide a team and coach friendly environment. The event will be held at one or two locations to minimize in between game travel as well as facilitate coach's schedules. The goal of the Crown Challenge is to provide a fun day of spring soccer for a wide range of skill levels and ages. For more information and to apply today click here!
