KHSC Players Travel to Holland with KY Youth Soccer ODP
On Tuesday March 29th, six members of the Kings Hammer Academy Boys program left Cincinnati and headed to Chicago to meet up with their teammates for the next 10 days as a part of the Kentucky Youth Soccer ODP team heading to Holland. Katelynn Gentry (KHA 16 Blue), Adam Snow (KHA 16 Red), Brett Bolin (KHA 16 Red), Hunter Hayden (KHA 16 Blue), Mike Vogt (KHA 17 Red), and Ian Manahan (KHA 17 Red) were all selected for the state ODP team after several training sessions this past fall.
Kentucky Youth Soccer Association teamed up with Feyenoord Rotterdam to provide an international trip for the 1999-2000 Boys & Girls Olympic Development Teams. Players had the opportunity to travel to Rotterdam, Holland and play/train at Feyenoord who are ranked as the number one youth player development club in the Netherlands as well as take in 3 professional matches. The week long trip took place from March 30th-April 6th.
