the Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas, is pleased and excited to be Silver Sponsors for Discover Santa 2016 this July in Branson, Missouri.
OUR VISION
is to have an organization exclusively for Real Bearded Santas and their associates. We recognize that being Santa 24/7 each day of the year is a huge commitment that is much greater than someone who can take off their beard and not be Santa. We know these are special people who deserve their own special organization. As a group, we strive to help each other become the best Santa that we can be.
OUR COMMITMENT
to the Santa world is that it all started with 10 real bearded Santas having a Southern California after season luncheon. This luncheon is where we came from and we are committed to putting on an after season Reunion Luncheon every year to commemorate that occasion and celebrate our joy of being Santa.
OUR MISSION
We provide a social organization where everyone has a clean back ground check. ( We are the first major Real bearded Santa organization to require a clean back ground check as a criteria for membership) We provide a way for our members to purchase liability Insurance, and carry liability Insurance for our gatherings. We share ideas, support and learn from each other to enhance the joy of being Santa. We work together to give some needy families in our communities a joyous Christmas and help give our members the look and skills to make children and adults know they had THE REAL Santa at their event

who were AORBS members and volunteers when the annual luncheons were put on by AORBS. In those years, AORBS was the only real bearded Santa organization. It is those same workers who disagreed with the AORBS Board of Directors at the 2008 luncheon and in February voted to leave AORBS and formed FORBS. The same volunteers put on the 2009 reunion luncheon and cruise and FORBS has provided volunteers and been the host of this annual event every year since.

The Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas and our members are honored to be counted as active supporters of this 10th Anniversary in Branson event, Discover Santa 2016. We are very proud to be able to also support the Toys for Tots charity, which our Marine Corp sponsors to bring joy to so many every year.
If you have a real beard and would like to join this exclusive Group, we would love to have you. We are a 100% member run 501c7 brotherhood that has limited its membership for the past 4 years. Because of the pressure from so many calls and people trying to register with us, this spring, our members will vote on a bylaw change that eliminates the geographic requirements if it passes. We will know these results by June.
There you will be able to fill out an application and pay for your membership through paypal.
When you join FORBS, you know that you are in a brotherhood of A List Santas. You must have a clean back ground check on file to become a member, and we use the screening solutions and Integration technology of Intellicorp, one of the most recognized back ground screening companies. Our members may purchase up to $2,000,000,00 Liability Insurance and with a clean back ground check on file, even covering child abuse, and child molestation. Our members get their own copy of their back ground check and Insurance to duplicate and share with customers. We do not pay our directors and officers to travel around the country, and much of our operating cost is donated. What we do is help our members bring Christmas joy. All of our Chapters raise money all year long and provide Santas to bring Christmas joy to needy families in our communities. As a new member of FORBS, you will receive a FORBS Membership Certificate, an ID card and window decal. You will be able to register on the FORBS members' only job board. The Board of Directors of FORBS are excited and proud to join the Discover Santa staff in welcoming you to Branson. It was incredible 10 years ago, and this is even bigger and better this time. It is an event that will be remembered and talked about for years to come.
The Board of Directors thank our members for their work and loyalty and thank all the Santas from around the world who have previously joined us in celebrating this after season Luncheon. We will have an information table here, so stop and see some pictures and think about joining us in the future. It is great fun.

2017 Annual after season Reunion Luncheon
Our 2017 annual after season reunion luncheon will take place On the Carnival Cruise Ship Imagination.
This is a 5 day, 4 night cruise sails Jan 28th 2017 with one day in Catalina Island, one day in Ensenada Mexico, and one day "at sea" and returns to port Feb. 1st. On the day at sea we will have seminars and our annual luncheon in our own dining room. For more information [email protected]
