Jim Laake, of Cromwell Radio Group, taught us about the trends in the radio industry and some sales tips. Sports talk radio is exploding in growth and more stations have a country format that others.  You should always ask - 1., What is the need?, 2. Do I have the right person? and 3. Is it the right time?
The ClassE Trade Show will be advertised on two of their stations the week before the trade show. The students went to the sound booth and recorded tags to invite the public to the show.

The students worked on their flyers and business cards for their businesses at Lake Land on Wednesday. Katie and Jenny have done a good job, but still asked for suggestions for improvement.

Lenders Bagels opened their doors for a tour. Nancy Bruner, Quality Control Manager, showed us a video that spoke of its proud tradition. The Mattoon facility is the largest bagel plant and produces 1.5 billion bagels per year. They also make now make french toast sticks for the Aunt Jemima brand. They clean the entire facility every ten days to keep up cleanliness standards.
