My newsletters are subtitled, " From The Positive Perspective" because I believe that looking at situations from more than one perspective can be beneficial. Looking at situations from a Positive Perspective can help you to not only not feel helpless, sad or out of control but it can help you to feel as though there are ways for you to be active and control many situations in your life.

Below is a poem brought to my attention that was written by an 11th grade Brooklyn, New York student by the name of Chanie Gorkin, who eloquently proves that while the words themselves do not change, the direction in which you read them and the way you put them together can make all the difference in your perspective on life.

Please read the poem below as written....then read the poem again starting at the bottom and reading it backwards one line at a time.  Your thoughts?

As always, please pass along this newsletter to anyone you feel may benefit from it's content.

Sincerely,

From The Positive Perspective......

The Worst Day Ever
by Chanie Gorkin

Today was the absolute worst day ever
And don't try to convince me that
There's something good in every day
Because, when you take a closer look,
This world is a pretty evil place.
Even if
Some goodness does shine through once in a while
Satisfaction and happiness don't last.
And it's not true that
It's all in the mind and heart
Because
True happiness can be attained
Only if one's surroundings are good
It's not true that good exists
I'm sure you can agree that
The reality
Creates
My attitude
It's all beyond my control
And you'll never in a million years hear me say
Today was a very good day

Now read it from bottom to top.

I am looking forward to hearing about all your successes in the coming year and welcome feedback or article ideas anytime.

Thank you for looking at all of my newsletter topics .....From The Positive Perspective.

Stay well.
