SAI News
Entrepreneurship in developing countries course begins
On Wednesday, Sept. 2, the course ' Contemporary Developing Countries: Entrepreneurial Solutions to Intractable Social and Economic Problems' began. The course is co-taught by several SAI faculty who say the interdisciplinary perspective will help students develop innovative solutions to social problems.
Update from the Harvard Alumni Group in Nepal
At the group's monthly meeting in August, Dr. Roop Jyoti discussed the benefits of Vipassana meditation, a process of mental purification through self observation.
Seed for Change Competition
Through an annual competition run by SAI, grant prizes will be awarded to interdisciplinary student projects that positively impact societal, economic, and environmental issues in India. The deadline for summer projects will be February 17, 2016.

Harvard For Nepal

Harvard For Nepal is SAI's university-wide initiative that aims to unite Harvard in response to the earthquake that devastated Nepal in April.


How you can help:

Contribute: The Nepal Research and Reconstruction Fund will provide support for projects in Nepal that are developed in partnership with local organizations, with a focus on Nepal's long-term reconstruction.

Document: We are accepting submissions for an online photo exhibit documenting Nepal's recovery.
