We can tell by the attendance and questions asked at the Chicken Workshop last month, that lots of folks are interested in raising chickens. We strive as best possible to provide you with everything you need to raise a healthy flock. Thank you to our speakers Jesse Huth with Huth Avian and Bob Wucher with Purina Mills, and especially to all that spent the evening with us. Because we've sold out over 1000 chicks thus far, we have another large chick order arriving at the store on Friday, May 6. Please contact the store for a list of breeds and to reserve yours.

Bad News: Bugs, Weeds, Algae
I am sure everyone has heard their share of "good news and bad news" teaser. The statement always seems to be followed by the question, "What would you like to hear first?". This time you don't get a choice as to what comes first, the good news! Yep, lakes and ponds are full, the lines to stock those ponds with fish are long, grass is green, and our drought seems years ago.
