Governor Proclaims April 30 International Jazz Day in Arizona
Governor Doug Ducey has issued a Proclamation to Doc Jones declaring April 30, 2016, "International Jazz Day".
The proclamation will be presented on April 30 at the International Jazz Day Festival in Phoenix at CityScape.

On Friday, April 22, 2016 approximately 500 6th-8th graders at schools in Pendergast, Peoria, Phoenix, Dysart and Washington School Districts will share and judge each other's mini-documentaries about water, built through the new Beyond the Mirage web experience

Winners of 2016 Mayor Select Scholarship Art Contest honored at Goodyear Lakeside Music Fest
The Goodyear Lakeside Music Fest- Saturday April 16th was the place to be!
At the event Mayor Lord was joined on stage by the winners of the 2016 Mayor Select Scholarship Art Contest to be recognized for their accomplishment. Alice Cooper surprised everyone with an unannounced visit to GLM Fest to introduce his son's band Co-Op and performed three songs for the ecstatic crowd.
