  • The Gigantic Spring Book Sale Fundraiser starts this Saturday, April 23 and runs through Tuesday, April 26. With more than 70,000 items categorized in 50+ subjects, this sale is one of the biggest the library has seen. A silent auction of rare and collectible books takes place on Saturday and Sunday. 
  • The Wilton Go Green Festival is happening Sunday, May 1, from 11am-4pm. Many festivities will occur in Wilton Library's parking lot and the adjacent Wilton Town Green. Please be advised that library parking will be very limited during the festival.

Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition and Reception: Michele Schuff
Monday, April 25 @6pm
April brings Michele Schuff to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Michele has recently begun to cast encaustic; the three dimensional figures create a pattern or measure; incremental changes in color reveal the pulse or sound of the work. Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library.  More info & register
Senior Center Book Discussion: The Post-Office Girl

Miwako Ogasawara will lead a discussion of The Post-Office Girl by Stefan Zweig. This posthumously published novel is a psychological study of the difficulties of life in post-WWI Austria. Author Talk: Christine Reilly, Sunday's on the Phone to Monday

Debut novelist Christine Reilly tells an arresting family love story about the eccentric yet tightknit Simone family, coping with tragedy and struggling to  heal and  reconnect with each other. The novel has received a star rating from Kirkus Review and high praise from many others.  More info & register
Connecticut's Own Concert: Connecticut Composers, Inc.
Sunday, May 1 @5pm
Works by six composer-members of Connecticut Composers -- Elizabeth Austin, Allen Brings, Juliana Hall, Daniel Morel, Margaret Collins Stoop, and Nancy Tucker -- will be performed. No charge. Registration strongly suggested.  More info & register
