EYE DISEASE
Denial: Ignoring the signs may affect the outcome
Our doctors believe the most common offender of eye health is inaction. This means, you notice signs, such as double vision or loss of sight in one eye, and you ignore them for days, week and even months. Unfortunately, waiting to see us may cause more harm. View a few examples of the top conditions that when ignored come with dire consequences by  Clicking Here.
BACK TO SCHOOL
What Research Says May Be Affecting Your Child
Back to school for children usually means greater visual demands, such as accommodating for small details on a board across the room.  Signs and symptoms of a visual issue may recur or for the first time manifest themselves. Consider that 80% of what a child learns is presented visually. Most sight (blur) issues may be easily addressed with spectacles or contact lenses. However, approximately 25% of the student population has more involved visual concerns. They are inefficient visual learners. For these particular patients further evaluation is required.
