Two Events in One Week!

Another successful Book Fair and Pancake Event. These fundraisers cannot be pulled off without the effort of parent volunteers. Planning and carrying through events like the Book fair and Pancake Dinner are a huge undertaking, and we are grateful to Jessica Brown and Megan Lynch for all their hard work. And a special thank you to all the parents who helped set up, cashiered, helped break down and worked the Pancake check-in table:

"Trash Trek" to Celebrate Earth Day

Prairie's new Earth Day tradition! Grab a plastic or Ziploc bag and collect trash as you walk to school!

Later in the day we'll have an assembly featuring John Speckman of Speckman Honey. He and his wife are local bee keepers who will talk to the students about the important role bees play in our environment. Click here to learn more.

Field Day - the Old-Fashioned Way

Prairie Field Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 28th - and Kim Bosch and her planning team have fun activities that pay homage to our 150-year history!

Stick horse racing, milk bottle toss, sack races - it's the perfect line-up to get these kids in the spirit for our 150th Anniversary week.

Help us create a memorable Field Day experience for our students by volunteering to work a time slot. Click here
to find the sign-up for your grade-level. We need one parent at each station to help us keep things moving.

This is one event you won't want to miss!
