The Wisdom in the Wilderness of Your Body
Date: May 5th
Time: 7-9pm
Location: Downtown Library
210 East 400 South
Salt Lake City
Distinct from the approach of living and healing that is based primarily in intellect and language, the living territory of embodiment, as beautiful, wild, unpredictable and vibrantly alive as the wilderness, offers vast untapped wisdom that can benefit not only individual healing and evolution but that of our world. As we re-center ourselves in the living experience of embodied aliveness, new possibilities emerge, along with an empowering way of knowing, being, and moving in the world.
Erin Geesaman Rabke and Carl Rabke have each steeped in wisdom traditions and embodied practices for more than 20 years. Trained as Embodied Life Teachers, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioners, yoga instructors, tai chi players, and long-time meditators; Carl also works as a Structural Integrator. They bring a wealth of embodied knowledge and teaching experience which they are dedicated to sharing with others.

After singing a solo at the ripe old age of four to a church audience,
David Drockton
was hooked on the passion and joy of musical expression. It is no surprise that he spent most of is life immersed in musical activities ranging from opera, musical theater, songwriting, and composing to improvisation, acting, writing, and even producing other artists. He has partnered with singers of all levels over the last eight years to unlock their authentic vocal expression as a professional vocal instructor and performance coach.
David composes original music as well as helps others to produce their raw songs into sonic smorgasbords. Specializing in orchestral arrangement, meditation music, and synths, David collaborates with artists all over the world thanks to an ever more connected digital world. Bringing his array of brilliant artistic colleagues and vocal clients, he loves finding the perfect music to accompany transformative Jung Society events. (You may have caught his Von Trapp family singers at the Jung Society Benefit.)
Using his keen ears and sonic sense, David happily assists with the sound at Jung Society events in addition to volunteering where needed.
