Navajo Home Heating Practices Talk

Wyatt Champion will be speaking at this week's Environmental Engineering seminar. He will talk about his research: Navajo Home Heating Practices, Their Impacts on Indoor Air Quality and Human Health, and a Framework to Identify  Sustainable Solutions. 
Alia Khan CHARIS Article

Earlier this year EDC student Alia Khan conducted a rapid water quality assessment for CHARIS (Contribution to High Asia Runoff from Ice & Snow) for her practicum. The goal was to understand the impact the 2015 earthquake on water quality and resources. You can find an article she wrote on her project here.

This year, two dynamic women, Dr. Karambu Ringera and Ms. Elizabeth Cook, will share their stories of forging new paths in the developing world. Water Workshop in Mexico

Environmental Engineering graduate Dr. Josh Kerns welcomes participants with some technical background in chemistry, environmental science and engineering, etc., and relevant practical experience in household / community water-sanitation-hygiene (WASH) to enroll in a one-week Water Supply and Treatment workshop in Mexico, July 25-31, 2016.
