After the conclusion of the Town Hall Meeting, the Dramatists Guild Fund presents " The World of a Play, Q&A with Lauren Yee" at 7:30 PM as part of the Traveling Masters Program. New York-based playwright Lauren Yee will discuss issues relating to building a career as a playwright, what is involved in the playwright-director relationship, and how to build connections with theaters. Also, we will explore what playwrights can do to strengthen the American theater scene. How do we create theater that looks like America today? What steps can we take to foster healthy, diverse theater communities and how do we connect with like-minded theater towns across the country?
