Tennis Tune Up Week

Find a clinic to work on a stroke - April 18-April 22. With some of the best instructors around, these classes are guaranteed to be fun and help your game. Classes limited to 6 players. Fee: $20.00 per student per class
 
April 18 - Forehands and Backhands with Louise Thomas - Bestgate Park 530-630 pm, 630-730 pm
April 19 - Developing your Doubles skills with Kristin Roberts - Bestgate Park, 530-630 pm, 630-730 pm
April 20 - Sharpen your Volley with Louise Thomas - Waterbury Park, 11-12 or 12-1, All levels
April 20 - Doubles Strategy with Robert Nuscher - Bestgate Park, 630-730pm, Intermediate
April 21 - Serve and Overhead with John Officer - Bestgate Park, 530-630pm, 630-730pm, All levels
April 22 - Playing doubles for fun with Harris Rosenblatt - Bestgate Park, 10-11am, 11am-12pm, 2.5 -3.0
April 22 - Mix and Match doubles play with prizes, 3.0-4.0 - Annapolis High School - 7pm - $10.00

Facility Progress - We need your help this week!

The proposed Anne Arundel County Fiscal Year 17 Budget (July 2016 - June 2017) includes design funding for Millersville Park and Tennis Center!

This is a call to all tennis supporters to attend one of two Town Hall Meetings called by County Executive Steve Schuh for input on the budget and other issues. The Tennis Community needs to "stand up" to keep the funding in place and the Tennis Center project on track.
  • Tuesday April 19th 7pm at Crofton Elementary School, 1405 Duke of Kent Drive
  • Wednesday April 27th 7pm at Severna Park Middle School, 450 Jumpers Hole Rd

A Tennis Alliance representative will speak on behalf of the tennis community in support of the Rec and Park budget and the tennis center project. We need a large group of people to stand up when asked. You don't need to speak. Your presence is critical to show the depth of community support. CARDIO TENNIS - A fun and skilled workout for players of all levels.   Come get your heart pumping and work on your skills in an energetic environment with music.
  
Date: Tuesdays, April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17, 2016, Time: 5-6pm (2.5-3.0); 6:15-7:15pm (3.5-4.5+)
