President Obama to Deliver Rutgers Commencement Address
Rutgers University welcomes the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, to the State University of New Jersey's flagship New Brunswick campus as the 2016 commencement speaker. President Obama will present the Commencement Address at Rutgers' 250th Anniversary University Commencement at High Point Solutions Stadium on Sunday, May 15. This is the first time in Rutgers' history that a sitting U.S. President has agreed to speak at Commencement, and we are deeply honored. His decision is a testament to enthusiastic efforts by Rutgers' many friends. President Obama visited RU-Newark in November 2015 to speak about criminal justice reform. Read more here.
