Grade 3 students write about their experience at Aggie Days
On Wednesday we went to Aggie Days. First we went on a boring bus ride. Then the class got into groups. I was with Avi and Adam. We were very lucky because we were one of the first schools to arrive. There were lots of stands about farms and food and stuff like that. It was really awesome because we got a lot of free stuff like pencils, erasers, pens, plants, posters, playdough, stickers and more. When we went for lunch we watched the RODEO!! It was amazing. First we watched horses buck, then bulls. My favourite part was when the jokester came and got dressed as a chicken. How funny! When we were walking Mr. Hadden noticed that we could go on a horse and buggy. While we were in the buggy Mr. Hadden teased us on how we might have to clean the horses poop. YUCK!!!! After we pet the horses and llamas they were so soft!! J Before the rodeo we went through a wimpy corn maze. Let's just call it a hunch but I know that next year will be so much fun. See you next year!

Yesterday my school went to Aggie Days. We got to pick a group to be in. My group was Atara, Avi and I. Then we went to the bus. We talked a lot and had fun. We got to Aggie Days in 30 minutes. At the beginning Mr.Hadden took AWESOME PHOTOS OF US!!!!! We made funny faces and regular faces. Then we went to do and play things. We got to ride on a horse thing. At the end we almost crashed into another HORSE!! After that my class and I were starving. We finally got to the rodeo and had snack. After snack we went to a maze it was EASY!!! We finished it in 15 seconds. After some time the rodeo started. IT WAS CRAZY! A MAN HUGGED ANOTHER MAN ON THE HORSE!!! Then this man came with a crazy machine to make things bigger. It went on fire. I was not impressed. The guy brought out Homer Simson and my friends and I yelled DON'T HURT SIMSON!!! The people thought we were crazy. Then they brought out the bulls and so many people fell. At the beginning they said "do you want to see your teacher ride a bull?" and all the kids said "YES!!!" After the rodeo we went to this thing. When we passed by they asked, "Do you want to play this game?" After the creepy people we went to this plant thing. I did not go in line because it was too long. But in side of the thing it was this game to save bugs and water plants. My and I group had lots of fun. We finally got on the bus and Avi and I did not want to see the school again. When we saw the school we said, "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" The trip was awesome and there was 15 minutes left of class.

This is Joey, Daria and I asking questions with the volunteers of the llama and alpaca exhibit! I was mostly touching the llama fur! It was so soft that I just couldn't let go of it. Joey and Daria were just asking and asking until I asked 2 questions! One of them was which fur is which, and the other one was how big were the animals when they were cut? There were no green bags at the exhibit on the other side. I also saw donkey's which are similar to llamas! I've always wanted to see a donkey and I finally did. I saw horses and one of them pooped! It was a great experience at Aggie Days! And I want to go there again! Now let's talk about the RODEO!!!!!!! There was racing with only horses not bulls! But there were bulls there! After the rodeo we wanted to get autographs but we didn't have time! I wish I could see elephants! But there weren't any elephants! At the rodeo there were bulls and horses getting rated! That was fun, now let's talk about something else! The cows!!! They make milk! Like, who wouldn't know that! It was fun learning over there about cows! Now let's talk about pieces of wheat! And when I say pieces of wheat I mean grains of wheat! Well they're NOT edible which is a thing that I don't like! I don't like that they're NOT edible because I like trying new things, and I can't eat pieces of wheat! And there were like 50000000 people over there! And when the trip was finished there were about 10 minutes left to stay at Aggie Days!

I LOVE the Rodeo at Aggie Days because one of the horses jumped over someone! One of the cowboys also grabbed onto one of the horses! :D The bulls were adorable. It looked as if they were chasing their tails. Also, the queen and the princesses were awesome. ;) I want to own a horse one day. I 100% loved everything. I got an egg sharpener, a bunch of fun books, and a chicken eraser and pencil. I love Aggie days! GIDDYUP!

We were late for the Rodeo but it was still awesome because it was my first Rodeo. I've seen at least one! My favorite part of the Rodeo was the bull riding! I saw the #3 best bull rider in Canada, #2 best bull rider in Canada, and #1 best bull rider in Canada! There was a guy called Dennis, he was weird. The Rodeo was better than ever! My favorite prize was the egg sharpener! I think after the Rodeo we went to this plant computer place. I wanted to get signatures of the people. Avi and I went there, it was fun!

I loved going to Aggie Days! We petted animals and got pulled in a wagon by horses! We even went in a tipi! We saw a rodeo! We looked at alpacas and llamas and clothes made out of their fur! It was so much fun! There were bees, pigs, and horses! We tried honey, played games and made dough! We saw the queen and the princesses! And we saw a funny invention! Then we saw Denis turn it to a chicken! Everyone laughed so hard! We went in the corn maze! It was awesome! The End

At the rodeo I got to go to the corn maze. The first time I made it to the finish, I memorized it. Then I did it really quick with Israel. We tied at the finish. Then we went to the rodeo and it was lots of fun. I learned that when the horses buck they did not like the rider and that's why they buck people off. When the first bull rider came out on the stadium, I was pretty excited to see how long he could stay on. The bull fighters were good at their jobs. One of the horses was kicking inside the gate. You only have to stay on the animal for eight seconds. Then a man said you only have to stay on for 4 more seconds.

Last week we went to Aggie Days. My favourite part was the rodeo. There were lots of horses. They were awesome. There were also bulls. I think that the bulls were cooler. At the end they had a race. They were also being very funny. At the end you could get autographs. My class did not but some classes did. The horses and bulls ran very quickly. Some people fell off of the horses and bulls. I think the bulls are also cool. I had a lot of fun at Aggie Days!

My favorite thing at Aggie Days was going to it. My second favourite thing was the rodeo bull riding maniacs. I liked the seeing the tractors and the harrows because the dirt was so smooth. I also liked the invention because it was funny. My third favourite thing was the corn maze, Adam and I finish in only 14 2/3 seconds. Finally,...the plants. I half liked it half not. On the plus side I had fun. On the negative side UHHHHH...SO MUCH WALKING!!!!!!!!!
