Rev. Dr. Roché Vermaak
                                     "Cultural Trappings"
1 Corinthians 11:5-6,10,14; 1 Timothy 2:11-15

The past two weeks we have heard about Christ's inclusive and welcoming embrace of all people. In his teaching and actions, he stated that all are welcome. But, that's not the overwhelming attitude in Scripture. The apostle Paul as a former Pharisee seems to exclude several groups of people from God's welcome. We'll examine some texts together and interview our former Youth director, Rev. Angela Williams Gorrell.
