Dismuke Selected as 2016 Texas Teacher of the Year Finalist

Katy ISD's 2015 District-wide Elementary Teacher of the Year and Region IV Elementary Teacher of the Year, Christina Dismuke, was announced yesterday as a 2016 Texas Teacher of the Year Finalist by the Texas Association of School Administrators. Robert R. Shaw Center for STEAM Receives TASA/TASB Caudill Class of 2015 Award

The new Robert R. Shaw Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM), designed by Stantec Architects, was recently announced as the recipient of the Caudill Class of 2015 Award as part of the TASA/TASB Exhibit of School Architecture. Crews Appointed as Area 3 Assistant Superintendent

Katy ISD announced last week that Lee Crews, principal at Morton Ranch High School, has been appointed to serve as the new Assistant Superintendent of Instruction and Administrative Support for Area 3 effective Tuesday, September 1, 2015. On September 1, Julie Hinson, associate principal at Morton Ranch High School, will assume the interim principal role and oversee all campus operations. Read more...
