Greenwood Avenue Farmers Market Brings Unique Combination of Healthy Food and Health Services to Trenton 
The Greenwood Avenue Farmers Market, located at 427 Greenwood Avenue, celebrated its grand opening on Monday, June 15, with great fanfare as more than 100 people, including local and state dignitaries, supporters, partners, vendors, health service providers and residents of Trenton came out for an afternoon and evening of food, fun and health-related activities. New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids is a statewide program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with technical assistance and direction provided by the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance. The primary goal is to convene, connect and empower community partnerships across the state to implement environmental and policy changing strategies that prevent childhood obesity and create healthier communities.
