Recent Events
UMass Lowell invited VOH to sing the National Anthem.  We're always pleased to be able to perform in the Tsongas Arena, and grateful for the support of the UMass Hockey Team.  Go River Hawks!

We also sang the National Anthem for the Celtics!
Performing at the Garden is a blast, and this year we actually made it on TV.  Thanks to all our members who participate in our National Anthem performances.  It's one of the ways we spread visibility, and we're so grateful to you for your participation.

A few of us performed for the Tomorrow Night Gala,
a benefit for St Jude Children's Hospital.  It was a beautiful evening, and VOH was proud to add to the ambiance for such a worthy cause.

The Middlesex Concert Band invited us to participate in their Songs of the Silver Screen performance.
VOH teamed up with the band for five songs, and it was a wonderful show.  We'd like to thank the Band for the invitation, and hope we can do it again soon!

Fiddler on the Roof
Consulting with the Rabbi
In one month, Voices of Hope is going to be presenting Fiddler on the Roof to a sold out crowd at North Shore Music Theater.  Sixty-five of us will take the stage to tell this timeless tale about the little village of Anatevka.  Our one night performance will be the culmination of roughly 150 rehearsal hours, 100 hours of technical work, and innumerable hours of planning by the artistic team.  We're doing it all on a shoestring budget, pulling it together through hard work, dedication, and the generosity of friends who have loaned us costumes, props, and their own impressive skills.  In the end it's going to be amazing--a night of theater that will leave our audience members shaking their heads and wondering how we did it.  Well, I can tell you in one word, and no, the word isn't "tradition."
It's love.
Everything we do as members of VOH is fueled by love, and Fiddler is no different.  We see in it the same message of hope and perseverance that is central to our mission.  The same story of life, and how it persists through sorrow.  The same tale of how what matters most will always be with us, as long as we cling to it.
Tevye isn't wrong.  Our lives are as shaky as a fiddler on the roof.  But at VOH we have learned to balance with love, and hope, and faith in the future.  We hope you'll be there on May 7th, when we share that love with the audience at North Shore.

*Fiddler on the Roof is now SOLD OUT, but you can still support us with a donation!*

We appreciate your continued support as we aim to increase our fundraising goal every year. Our 2015 fundraising efforts allowed us to donate $75,000 to the Henri and Belinda Termeer Center For Targeted Therapies at Mass General Hospital. We couldn't do it without you!
