Ready, Set, GO!
WFA site visit teams are in the field this month, working collaboratively with Wisconsin organizations to help them improve through thoughtful, Baldrige-based analysis and actionable feedback.  The Baldrige National Quality Award introduced the 2015 Baldrige Award recipients at an amazing conference last week.  We're looking for some motivated Wisconsin organizations who want to get better faster. Wisconsin State Government Honored with KT Gold award for Lean Government Practices

Late last month, Governor Scott Walker accepted the Gold award for the Kepner-Tregoe (KT) International Process Achievement Award on behalf of Wisconsin's Lean Government practices.  Governor Walker introduced the Lean initiative in 2012 to eliminate waste in state government and KT Problem Solving & Decision Making has been a significant contributor to the initiative's robust savings.  This news release explains more about the award, and the KT process.  Many of the highlighted agencies have presented their success stories at our annual Lean Government conference.

The Wisconsin Lean Government Initiative will be highlighted at ASQ's World Conference in Milwaukee next month.  Britt Hall of the Bristlecone Group and Suzanne Hock, State Lean Coordinator will speak on May 18th,  More information on the ASQ World Conference can be  found here.
