Rancho Mirage, CA (January 28, 2016) - The Rancho Mirage Police Department and the City of Rancho Mirage would like all residents to be aware that individuals may be posing as City employees in order to gain access into your home. These individuals will present the homeowner with a City of Rancho Mirage employee business card and request consent to enter your home to conduct a water pressure test.
Before consenting to allow anyone in your home, it is always best to ask for photo identification first. If you suspect this person is not who they say they are, please contact the Ranch Mirage Police Department immediately at (760) 836-1600.
