HAPPENINGS

LET'S GO has been supporting 9 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams during the 2015/2016 school year. LET'S GO support includes professional development in robot building and programming, hands-on coaching, registration assistance and unlimited  virtual access to our Robotics Functional Directors.  Recently, 7 of these teams competed in FLL Qualifiers.

Several of the teams received awards including 1st place Robot Design, 1st place Robot Performance and a Judges Award.

LET'S GO believes STEM instructors need superior professional development to be effective. It takes dedication and hard work, but there are a lot of fun moments as well. These UMBC Interns for LET'S GO are experimenting with a hands-on way to teach students about buoyancy using
JESS Volume 1 curriculum.
