Scholarship
$500 Scholarship Available
The scholarship is awarded annually to one eligible Wright State University undergraduate student who has demonstrated leadership, campus involvement, a commitment to the LGBTQA community and has a need for scholarship support.  

All application materials must be received by Monday, April 11th at 11:59 EST.

 Community Engagement Coordinators

The Office of LGBTQA Affairs is looking to employ 4-6 Federal Work Study student employees who we proudly call Community Engagement Coordinators (CEC's). The Community Engagement Coordinators duties include staffing the front desk, answering the Community Engagement Room main phone line, greeting community members who visit the space, tracking how many people utilize the space, and additional duties as assigned. Each CEC is also given a specific role that gives them additional responsibilities.

Students who are interested and have Federal Work Study funds can apply through the google doc on the Office of LGBTQA Affairs Website
Application is open. Decisions will be made in August 

Dragshow 13th Annual Drag Review

Come watch amazing Queens, Kings, and Monarchs perform at Rainbows Annual Drag Revue.  Tickets will be available for a donation of $10 at the door.

Please remember to bring extra dollars to tip the Queens, Kings, and Monarchs. 

All tips will go towards the LGBTQA Scholarship!

Celebrate the hard work of our graduating students! The Lavender Celebration is a national tradition in which LGBTQA students are recognized for their achievements. 

Please attend the LGBTQA Alumni Reception before the Graduation which begins at 6:00 PM in the Hearth Lounge.

In addition to celebrating our graduating Wright State students, we will also be celebrating and recognizing the contributions and advocacy of a few nominated individuals whom have engaged in LGBTQA advocacy on campus and in the larger Dayton community.

AIDS WALK OHIO: 2016 AIDS WALK GREATER DAYTON 
Saturday, April 23, 2016
This year's tri-city walk/run/ride is slated to be the largest HIV/AIDS awareness event in Ohio. 

The WSU LGBTQA Team will begin to meet at 11 am at the Registration tent. Feel free to participate in any form of the walk. The LGBTQA Affairs staff will be leading our team in the 5k walk/1 mile stroll. 
Registration/Check-in starts at 10 am 5K walk/run starts at 11:50 am.
