Team UPHS/PENN: One for the Record Books
They may make it look easy, but Team UPHS/PENN works hard for every dollar they raise. And they've raised a lot of them - over $2 million in fact. That makes them the team that has raised the most money in City to Shore history, and the first team ever to hit this milestone. And despite the Ride's cancelation in 2015, they had the best fundraising and recruitment year ever, recruiting 350 team members and raising over $273,000.
"2015 was awesome and we did not even ride," said Dan Wilson, Team Captain. "This will be our 20th year riding, and it is shaping up to be our best year yet as we hope to surpass 400 riders and $275,000."
So how does the number one team stay on top? Continue reading >>

How Your Fundraising Helps
It was nearly 24 years ago when Sandra was diagnosed with progressive MS. For the last 13 years, her husband Frank has ridden in City to Shore. His dedication to the mission fuels his fundraising and motivates him to reach VIP status annually.
For many years, Frank's "reason to ride" joined him at the Ocean City finish line. But a few years ago, Sandra was no longer able to travel. That's when Frank reached out to the MS Society for help. Although Sandra was not able to make it to the finish line, the Society was able to arrange for a caretaker to be at their house during the Ride, so Frank could continue to ride in City to Shore knowing his wife was taken care of.
In addition to the local support provided to Frank and Sandra, the first treatment for progressive MS should hit the market in 2016. When you ride in Bike MS: City to Shore, you are raising money that directly benefits people like Sandra and Frank, and the more than 15,000 local people living with MS in our area.

Corporate Sponsorship: Real Estate For Sale
Support from companies is extremely important in keeping administrative costs low and continuing to ensure funds raised through City to Shore directly impact those in the local community affected by MS.
The following opportunities are still available for City to Shore 2016, and we need your help filling them.
- Rest Stops: Rest Stops provide a fun, festive and fully supported corporate branded opportunity every 10-15 miles for cyclists, plus an opportunity for your company to maximize employee engagement.
- Century Rest Stop
- Waterford Rest Stop, exclusive or shared options available
- Safety Program: With 7,000 cyclists on the road Ride weekend, it is important that each cyclist ride safely and set a good example by following the rules of the road and respecting the communities we ride through City to Shore weekend. Through the Safety program, Bike MS provides the necessary tools to educate all City to Shore cyclists on proper riding etiquette.
- Mission Program: This program provides an opportunity for your company to associate directly with the National MS Society's mission, and is intended to connect cyclists to our mission and reason for riding: a world free of MS.
