2015 Bick Award Winners Selected
The Bick Award is given each year to the graduating medical student from each of Louisiana's medical schools who demonstrate outstanding achievement and promise in psychiatry.  This year LPMA is pleased to recognize LSU New Orleans graduate Luke A. Verret , LSU Shreveport  graduate Brittany Monceaux and Tulane graduate Samuel Landsman with a commemorative certificate and a $750 cash award.

This award was established in 1970 by LPMA in honor of John W. Bick, Jr., MD.  Dr. Bick was an excellent general psychiatrist who was open to new ideas, well versed in both the biological modes of treatment and in psychodynamics, and highly respected as a clinician.

The deadline for enrolling your general psychiatry residents is October 31 in order to qualify your training program for 100% Club membership for the current training year.  Individual recognition gifts as well as program rewards are included in all levels.  Don't miss the chance to be included, click on the link below for full details.
