Follow Your Road

With so many roads
that seem to lead
down to the sea
I wonder which road
will be the right
one for me

others may fall away,
dead ending left and right
but there is this one road
that journeys far out of sight
Have you wondered where
your road will lead you?

maybe to a bright day of sunshine
or a starry night in heaven
or it might be you're afraid to go
afraid to go, but you've got
to follow your road or you'll
never know never know, never know

we are all but travellers
living in a foreign land
Just trying to find our way
the best as we can
looking for an answer trying
to find some way

though we have journeyed
far it's not quite far enough
have you wondered where
your road will lead you
maybe to a song that needs singing
or a summer rain (don't be afraid to go)

or it might be you're afraid to go,
afraid to go
but You've got to follow your road
or you'll never know

(Chorus)
you've got to follow your road,
follow your road,
follow your road
you've got to follow your road,
follow your road,
follow your road
you've got to follow your road,
follow your road,
follow your road
and maybe someday your road
will take you far away

keep following till you find it
and someday you will get there
don't be afraid

My journey began at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute with Raw Chef Instructor, Cherie Soria

While at Living Light, I had a Licious Dishes Logo and a Weekly-Meal Subscription Business Plan created.

Winning the Star-Advertiser 2011 Ilima Critic's Choice Awards was a turning point. Pete said I could start a restaurant.

Greens & Vines Restaurant was built on love of life and a desire to share a Gourmet Vegan lifestyle.

With my hubby by my side, we loved life.

And our road lead down to the sea . . .  xoxo, Syl

Considering that Licious Dishes started  on May 1, 2007 our 9th anniversary is coming up! We are looking forward to having a special Cinco de Mayo meal for the week.

This week, we are on Meal Plan 3.
We are still working out the kinks in the preparation and packaging of the individual meals. At the same time, (in my spare time, ha ha) I've been experimenting with the use of other sweeteners to replace agave, (dates, stevia, apples, bananas).  While we are trying to accommodate folks' "allergies" it's been a challenge in packaging for the allergic variations.

Please forward this newsletter to your friends and recommend them to get our newsletter and info on on our Weekly Meal Plans, by clicking on this and adding their email address. Check out our Restaurant Menus at our website -  greensandvines.com
