Summer Options

It is important to take a break, relax, and have some fun over the  summer but it is also important  to do something that will interest you, challenge you, and prepare you. Some examples include community service, community college class, job/internship, or attending a summer program. Involvement looks great when applying to college, a post-secondary program, scholarship and a job.

Free week long leadership training in Sacramento for 10th grade only.  Application deadline is mid May.

Community College Courses
Summer class schedules have been released for several community colleges. It is wise to take college classes as you can get college and high school credit. Classes are free for all High school students. Students may have to purchase books/materials. Please see Ms. Rocio mid May for a plan. Registration occurs at the beginning of June.
