FOCUS ON FACULTY & STAFF | Cal State L.A., College of ECST

SPRING QUARTER | April 5, 2016

Coming Up
DIRECT-STEM Multi-Disciplinary Research Seminar
Hands-on Testing on Regional Climate Models |  King Hall D4046 on Friday, April 8th @ 10:30-1:30 p.m. (Lunch will be provided)

Jointly developed by NASA/JPL and UCLA/JIFRESSE, the Regional Climate Modeling Evaluation System (RCMES) is a comprehensive suite of software resources that facilitates systematic evaluation of climate models. One great part of this is that you can produce publishable quality graphing products for your research without need to write codes. JPL scientists, Drs. Huikyo Lee and Brian Wilson will be running the workshop and introduce RCMES and its software architecture. Participants will be instructed on how to install, run, and evaluate climate models using RCMES. Attendees will have access to campus computers for this workshop but are welcome to bring their own PC/Mac laptop.
