Because it occurred on March 24 this year, I hope you had the opportunity to enjoy the Holi Festival despite having to prepare for your board exams. I am sure that you have done well with your exams and are now finding time to relax in a small way.
Our Indian students at Kent State University will be celebrating Holi on Saturday, April 16, because the day of the festival coincided with spring break this year which meant many of the students were away from campus. As usual, the on-campus celebration of the Holi Festival is being sponsored by the Kent Indian Association. It will be an open air celebration on Manchester Field near the center of campus, so everyone is opening for excellent weather. The photo above is from last year's celebration. You can read more about the Kent Indian Association in the following article.
With your exams behind you, now is the time to begin exploring your options for college and I hope that you are considering the benefits and possibilities of an international education. In today's global world, an international experience will not only help you with your career opportunities, it is also a fantastic way to grow into a confident and resourceful individual.
And I hope that you will consider Kent State University as your oversees educational destination. Join the more than 1,000 Indian students who already call Kent State home.
