A Colorful Event! 

This year Midwest City is hosting a new, exciting event to be held in Charles J. Johnson Central Park located in Town Center Plaza on Saturday, April 9. The Covered in Color Sidewalk Chalk Competition and Art Festival will be the first of its kind for Midwest City, and is set to feature an impressive variety of vendors, cuisine and entertainment.

The festival will open at 9:30 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. Live entertainment will include Daybreak, an elite jazz choir ensemble, Ravens Three band and internationally renowned inspirational speaker Richard Hight, who creates a work of art during his keynote to creatively communication positive and life-changing messages of inspiration. Three separate live performances of chainsaw art sculpting will take place throughout the day.

Enjoy a private tour of the Atkinson Heritage Center, built in 1955 by the founder of Midwest City.
