STUDENT DRIVERS! This is a reminder that there is absolutely no student parking anywhere on campus and especially not in the pool parking spots. $50 tickets will be issued to all vehicles without BHS or Pool Parking passes in their window. These tickets must be paid before yearbooks or diplomas can be picked up.

SEATTLE YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM: Representatives from the Seattle Youth Employment Program (SYEP) will be in the Counseling Center during both lunches on Wednesday, April 6th to present information about the program and to help students fill out applications.

KUDOS TO DANCE TEAM!  The Ballard Dance Team's hip hop performance finished 5th  in the state last weekend at the state tournament in Yakima.

BHS CHEER is excited to host an open practice on Monday, April 4 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM in the Ballard HS Commons. This practice will be open to all 8th - 11th graders who might be interested in the cheerleading program. BHS CHEER TRY-OUTS: Ballard cheerleading tryouts are right around the corner! Pick up your tryout packet in the Main Office and be sure have it turned in by April 26 on the first day of tryouts. 
The BHS PTSA presents our annual BASH Dinner & Auction on Sat April 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the North Seattle Community College.  Join us for a fun filled evening with our guest MC, John Maynard and our fabulous auctioneer, Stephen Kilbreath.

BELL TIME IMPLEMENTATION SURVEY: SPS is looking for your input on the transition to new bell times. Click here to access the online survey. The survey will close on Wednesday, April 13. The survey will focus on three topics important to a successful transition to the newly adopted bell times:
  • Nutrition services (breakfast and lunch)
  • Before and after school programs
  • Athletics

SEXUAL AWARENESS EVENING:  The Fight the Fear Campaign is excited to announce a Sexual Assault Awareness evening for Western Washington high school girls.  This free event will take place on Thurs, April 28 from 7-9pm in Roosevelt High School's Performing Arts Center.
