Transformations!

Hopefully you were lucky enough to attend the Transformations Gala, but in case you missed it here's a quick recap: 

Our contestant, Jamie Lloyd Simpson, Director of Accessibility & ADA Education at KU, and her amazing backup dancers, brought down the house with her rendition of "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina." Jamie placed in the top 5! The whole evening was filled with so much talent and we were beyond grateful to have been a part of it. Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in this important community event!

Salon-A-Thon
We are still signing up participating salons for our Salon-A-Thon fundraising event with Ballard Community Services in April. Stylists/salons get new clients, lots of exposure and PR love, and half the proceeds! Doing what you do best never felt better! Ask your favorite stylist to contact Tara at Independence, Inc. or Megan at Ballard to get on the list today! Let's put our heads together to create community change!
