"I really enjoy hearing success stories from other parents who are facing the same challenges I am as a parent."
This month's session will feature co-presentations from parents and the professionals they worked with on:
* Employment
* Housing

Valuable Funding Workshop View Online
On October 16, Milestones Consortium for Autism Professionals (MCAP) packed a room at Daily Behavioral Health/Building Behaviors Autism Center to hear about
Funding and Insurance for Therapy, Education and Medical Care. The crowd was not disappointed.
Jill Sadowsky, MSW, LISW-S, Director of Admissions, Outreach, and Early Childhood Services at Bellefaire JCB shared about getting the most out of community resources. Franklin Hickman, JD, President of Hickman & Lowder distilled his wisdom on accessing public benefits. Howard Bonem, PhD, Psychologist, Partners for Behavioral Health and Wellness provided tips on insurance coverage.
"This is exactly the information I needed," said Michelle Baskin of ABA Outreach Services. "With so much changing in the world of medical insurance, autism providers need to get reliable information from trusted sources, Milestones was able to convene experts who had a wealth of knowledge to share."
If you want this vital funding and insurance information, but were not able to attend the workshop, it is not too late. With the help of a partnership with BoxCast.com, you can register to watch the workshop and view the handouts online.
