Join Us for Two CPSR Events in January

On January 16th, our chapter welcomes Mr. Andrew Obermeyer, DCMA Business Operations Center Director, to talk about CPSRs. The briefing will include a discussion on the recent changes incorporating concerns with counterfeit parts. Chapter members who attend will have a chance to win a FREE registration to NCMA's Subcontract Management Training Forum in March. See the article in this issue for details on the contest.

On January 28th the chapter will host an in-person only site for Part 2 of NCMA's CPSR webinar series, Surviving a CSPR: Practical Tips to Achieve Success. Part 2 addresses how to proceed when DCMA issues notice of a pending CPSR.

The chapter is giving away a free registration to NCMA's Subcontract Management Training Forum taking place this March at the Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner to one lucky Dulles Corridor Chapter member.

Just register and attend our January seminar on CPSRs. We will draw one name from the chapter attendees and that person will win the free registration (does not include any pre- or post-forum events that require a separate fee). We Need Your Help for February's Seminar on Safeguarding Unclassified Controlled Technical Information

Our February 20th seminar will address the new DFARS requirement (DFARS 252.204-7012) for contractors to implement information systems to protect unclassified controlled technical information.

We are assembling a panel of experts to discuss the new requirement, how to implement it, and the issues contractors have encountered so far. Bunnie Pasternak, Principal Consultant and Owner, Innovation140 Consulting, LLC and former AF Contract Operations Director at Hanscom AFB, will moderate the panel.

We would like attendees to submit questions ahead of time so that the panel can address specific areas that are of interest to the audience. You may submit your questions using one of the following methods:

  • The submission form on our website; or
  • When registering for the event

So put on your thinking caps and send in your most challenging questions to the panel!
