Audubon Arts On the Edge
Don't miss the engaging and fun filled Audubon Arts On The Edge street fair this Saturday, June 7th from noon to 5:00 p.m. The afternoon is filled with music, interactive arts and crafts, educational activities and of course...dance! New Haven Ballet Company will perform at 3:00pm. Come join the fun and cheer our wonderful dancers!
International Festival of Arts and Ideas
This fall NHB will offering a full and expanded class schedule in New Haven and on the Shoreline. Also new for the next academic year will be expanded office hours. The Administrator and Business Manager will be available one evening a week, rotating between the New Haven and Shoreline studios, to meet with families, answer questions and offer other support as needed.
End of Year Party: Don't miss our NHB school-wide end of year party in Danspace on Sunday, June 8 from 1-2 p.m! All are invited and we hope you will come to celebrate a great year with your teachers, honor our graduating Seniors, and share a fond farewell before we go on Summer break. Pay it Forward -- As a special NHB dance community good will gesture, NHB will accept collections for Kesa Whitaker, an important New Haven community dancer and program innovator, to help defray her medical costs. We plan to give away the last pair of pointe shoes signed by NHB's 2013 Nutrcracker Sugar Plum Fairy and now retired NYCB principal dancer, Jenifer Ringer! There will be an informal in-studio showing at the Whitney Avenue Studio (591 Whitney Avenue, New Haven) for parents, friends and relatives of the Monday and Saturday First Steps classes. The Monday class will perform today, June 2nd from 3:15-4:00 p.m. The Saturday First Steps class will perform Saturday, June 7th from 9:15-10:00 a.m.
Last Day of NHB Classes Street Closed:
Please note that June 7th is the last day of the Spring Semester at New Haven Ballet.
Also, because of the Audubon Arts On the Edge event, Audubon Street will be closed to all automobile traffic on June 7. Only pedestrian traffic in and out of the Studio70 and Dancespace facilities will be permitted. The garage behind the building may still be accessed through the Orange Street entrance.

Please take notice of New Haven Ballet's tuition policy concerning overdue and outstanding balances. If payment in full or satisfactory payment arrangement with the business office has not been made before fall classes begin, students will not be permitted to register for fall classes or participate in The Nutcracker. Please be sure to call the Business Manager today to arrange payment of any outstanding balances. Thank you!
