Sew many spring fabrics! It's print season! We stepped away from our usual flow of solids and prints to offer you a bouquet of prints from floral to scenic to geometrics. Tis the season to blossom in colorful prints for work, for play and for parties. Since it is also "white season", we've included some fabulous white on white textures as well. See it all in Just Arrived.
Dinner in White
embroidered linen viscose
Here is our latest offering from the Special Purchases we made this season. It's a beauty and just right for white occasions. The linen/rayon blend is the perfect canvas for embellishment. Shiny rayon yarns are embroidered on the base fabric to form chain stitched delicate florals and foliage in a curved paisley-like design. The white on white fabrication is perfect for dresses or suits. Linen/Viscose imported.

This print is so much fun...whimsical and conversational. The midnight ground supports a scenic print in turquoise and white accented with royal and citron. Buildings surrounded by palms are backdrops to busy pedestrians. The stable cotton stretch will work for shorts, skirts, skorts, structured dresses or tops.

Rich tones of turquoise, aqua and royal blue are hand-dyed on this textured rayon. The organic motifs are scattered across the black ground in helter skelter trails and splotches. This batik is a unique fabrication that has more weight than the usual rayon plain weave. It will work well for separates

Our customers love a cotton jersey knit. This print features multiple bands of tribal designs that have a Native American flare. Dominant colors are turquoise, cornflower, burgundy and cocoa brown accented with white. Great choice for tops or dresses. Imported from France

Soft cotton poplin stretch spells comfort for summer dresses. This bold print is exciting and energetic for sundresses or tunic tops/shirts. If you worry about large prints overwhelming you, be sure to break up the print with seams to diminish the impact of the over-sized motifs. Shades of bright watery turquoise support large blossoms in candy pink, marigold and cherry red. Smaller accents in citrus, grass and foliage green complete the picture. Don't be afraid to jump in on this unique fabric from Jams World.
