As a supporter of PAALS, you should be proud that 2014 was one of our best years yet! 

We have put five new assistance dogs teams together, matched one VIP team and have nine new Pets With a Purpose teams. Our families members can say it better than I can:

PAALS gets to see these kinds of changes through our Animal Assisted Intervention(AAI) Programs. We've reached hundreds more youth this year through afterschool programs, our Summer PAALS camps, and Reading PAALS. This is a growing need in our community as more schools and youth programs contact us to help.

Of course, there is nothing like serving those who have already served us.....and veterans represent over 80% of our current applicants for assistance dogs..We want more people to feel the difference PAALS can make like this:..

"Dutch is the change the world wants to see in me." Brad, veteranwith PTSD, told us he felt his PAALS dog has given him a new leash on life. 

Thank you for helping us reach more people. It's with your continued support that we plan to meet the expected tidal wave of need in 2015. Huge numbers of injured troops are coming home and will be served through the Rob's Best Friend Fund.
