The Indianapolis Chapter is having an education seminar on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 1-4:30 pm. It will be held at the Willows on Westfield on the same day as the chapter meeting. Attendees will receive 3 AIA HSW LU's. Registration fee is $60 for CSI members / $85 for non-members and guests/ $40 for Interns & students.
The new 2014 IN Building Code, Fire Code, Mechanical Code and Fuel Gas codes went into effect as of December 1, 2014. This seminar will include a review of several of the top significant changes associated with the new codes, comparing those incorporated in the 2009 and 2012 code cycles. Additional review of the associated significant amendment modifications will also be included. A brief synopsis of proposed modifications to state plan review will also be covered.

Scott Perez, CSI, AIA, NCARB, CCS, CCCA, LEED AP, MBA, CPE, CBO is president of Arxtheon Consulting, Inc. Scott is a registered architect in Indiana and Ohio and is NCARB Certified with over 25 years of experience. He has served as the Indiana State Building Commissioner for two years.
Scott is a long-time resident of Indianapolis and obtained his Bachelors of Science in Architecture and Masters of Architecture degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He has completed his MBA at Butler University with an emphasis in leadership and marketing in 2001
