FEBRUARY 2015: RFP OPEN FOR 2015-16
The mission of the University at Buffalo's Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technology (UB CAT) is to drive the growth of life sciences firms through new and improved products using biomedical and bioengineering technologies.
UB CAT provides project cost-share support for R&D activities involving a company and a UB researcher with clear project deliverables that have significant potential for economic impact. TCIE Offering a Dozen Business Improvement Classes
in Spring
The University at Buffalo's TCIE has expanded its business improvement course offerings, appropriate for professionals working in any industry, to a total of 12. Classes range from a half-day seminar to a nine-month program. The spring schedule includes two new classes: one provides an overview of ISO, Lean and Six Sigma philosophies, and the other demonstrates how the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) approach promotes robust product design and manufacturing.
