New look for Link Letter

We're excited to unveil our first issue of the revamped Link Letter.

The e-newsletter platform we're now using will help Link Letter make it through your spam filters into your inbox, so no one will miss out on reading the latest news for the seniors sector. Make sure to add us to your "Safe Senders" list.

Besides the new look of Link Letter, you'll notice some changes:
  • Items will appear in only one issue instead of being repeated over multiple issues. News and events that have been included in previous issues of Link Letter will be listed on the ESCC website.
  • The newsletter is no longer segmented into audiences which will mean less repetition of items within the newsletter.
  • Link Letter will be distributed on Thursdays.

We welcome submissions of relevance to seniors and staff/volunteers in the seniors sector. Review our submission guidelines for more information.

We'll continue to monitor the functionality of the new format and make modifications if necessary. Send feedback to [email protected].

The dance will be open to the public and the EASC is looking for a venue. SENIORS ON THE GO COORDINATOR
Temporary full time position
Deadline March 9, 2015

Seniors on the Go is a summer program designed to help Edmonton's senior citizens feel more comfortable, confident, and safe using Edmonton Transit. The program offers a free, interactive instructional session for groups (senior's activity centers, senior's residential complexes) that teaches seniors how to independently use the accessible and senior-friendly features and services offered by ETS and provides an opportunity for the group to take transit to a nearby destination to practice their new skills.

Edmonton Transit is looking for a person with familiarity of public transit and a good working knowledge of routes, programs, and services. You will implement the program, with supervision and support, to provide information and instruction on transit options for senior's groups and residential complexes located along ETS routes.
