ERGO------ OLD SYSTEM COMES TO END WITH A CLEAN TRANSITION TO THE NEW ONE FOR IRAQ.

Many of us fantasize about winning a big lottery jackpot. Let's say that actually happened? What would you do with the money? How would you manage it?

While winning the lottery is a real longshot, cash windfalls are not that uncommon. People inherit money or receive a life insurance payout when someone dies, they sell businesses or professional practices, they win a judgment in a lawsuit, receive a sizable divorce settlement, or take a 401(k) rollover or lump-sum distribution from a pension account all of which can result in a sizable windfall.

The number 70% seems to be a common one in terms of the percentage of lottery winners and retired NFL and NBA players who end up in financial difficulty. If you're the recipient of a cash windfall what should you do, how should you manage it?

Said that the HCL runs the 2015 budget. Gas is not done dropping. Look at right after the 1st of the year. Said that I-Team's job is to protect. In Feb., March, and April, they will be protecting Dr. Shabibi.

Those writing the budget have had no vacation in years. Has been done in the 'Green Zone.' Have been working with IMF, BIS, etc....all EXCEPT THE WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION.

Many budgets for the many provinces. US was there over the holidays. Who? Cannot tell you. The whole time they were protecting these meetings; and they (Iraq) finished the budget. has been protected all year....

ONLY Shabibi has been in charge of the CBI, since September. It was only he. 'Turki' was an interim-only governor. Did well. But not a replacement for all of the meetings.

We continue to head in a direction with the end of this year that makes 2015 a welcome sight I think....my oh my what the first month....the first quarter could bring to Iraq in particular and the world at large.

Mahdi concerned from a "setback" in the oil agreement with Erbil

Knowing the full-fledged corruption that ran rampant throughout the previous government.....what this article is suggesting gives me a great deal of heartburn.....Mahdi actually meeting with former leaders of the oil and gas ministry...seeking their thoughts and advise.....I hope he only took what they might have offered with a grain of sand.....

IMO....if he wishes to continue to drive in the direction of principled communication, integrity, and continuity....he would best go the course without this questionable baggage hanging from his backside....these are none to be calling advisors....there is a strong piece of my mind that tells me this is a wild smoke screen...that Mahdi and Abadi know better than to go in this direction....unless they were looking for some specific piece of information from these thugs...and once located they will be summarily dismissed.....I can only hope we see no further discussion in this direction.

Millionday: postponed the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, who was scheduled to hold its meeting on Monday, to study the general budget to next Saturday.

He attributed Committee member Jabbar al-Abadi, said in a press interview, to postpone the meeting coincided with the year-end holidays, travel of some members of the committee, He pointed out that "the Committee's work stopped until the next Saturday."

It was Abadi, revealed in an earlier statement about the intention of the committee to call the Ministers of Finance, Hoshyar Zebari, and planning Salman Jumaili through the study of the budget, likely to pass the budget soon.

and completed the House of Representatives at its meeting held Thursday exceptional the past, the first reading of the draft budget law and referred to the Finance Committee.

Thank you everyone for taking a break and hopefully, you, like me, took a little time for family and friends. Not that we are not friends. I wrote a post every day we were laying low, I have to deal with emergency rooms for family and tough moments and in the end, it is just a new beginning.

I choose not to share any of them. It was a tough thing to do. I love to interact and share. We all learn. Remember, the best teacher is the student. Your questions also help me and so many (when we don't do rate and date) So, let's visit a few items of where we are.

1. Global MR: (Monetary Reform) This is happening everywhere. See, there is lots of talk about the Brics (notice what China is really doing, buying other countries debit). Getting their USD and what is climbing and just might benefit from the MR with a new asset backed currency.

Well as 2014 closes and 2015 opens Iraq is hopeful and poised to overcome it's challenges and find it's footing as a viable, united country. So what can we expect in the new year?

All past lessons point to no concrete predictions but we can focus on "hints' to reach better probability outcomes. I reported months ago for "TWO Currencies' to Co-exist going into 2015 and we have already seen the new 10K, 20K notes already being integrated and exchanged.
