Enterprise Security Architecture Workshop

Developing a Business-Driven Security Program

You are invited to join Seccuris, ChoiceTel, Merit and the Michigan Israel Business Bridge organization for a three-hour workshop on Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) on February 17, 2015. There is no cost for this event and it includes a complimentary lunch.

Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) is a comprehensive framework and methodology to conceive, conceptualize, design, implement and manage security in a business-driven model. It protects your organization without limiting your business performance.

The ESA concept is based on the Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA), the world's leading open security architecture framework and methodology. If your company sells internationally, it's important to know SABSA security practices. The course is also in direct alignment with NIST guidelines on state-of-the-practice security controls in the U.S.

Presented by one of the only three SABSA Chartered Master Architects in North America, this workshop is ideal for security and risk management professionals, architects, IT and network practitioners, and executives wishing to gain a greater understanding of building an effective and proven security program at a time when threats and attacks are growing more complex and dangerous every day.

Learning Objectives

  • Overview of what architectural frameworks and standards exist
  • Overview of how ESA integrates with current business and IT standards and practices
  • Overview of how ESA methods assure business value and create new opportunities
  • Overview of how an ESA can assure long term enterprise success and resiliency

This ESA Workshop is worth 3 CPE credits.
