Thank you to Ethel Gerity for our latest book review from our Non Profit Resource Center!!

"Because I am volunteering to help raise money for avery worthy charitable cause, which I realized would not be an easy task, I borrowed a book from the Non Profit Resource Collection at the Public Library of New London: Raising Money for Mighty Missions: Steps to Success---Doing What Matters Most - -How Charitable, Non-Profit, Faith-Based Organizations can Raise More Money to Fulfill their Mission.

This book is an invaluable tool, addressing getting started, strategic planning, organizing a calendar, setting goals, finding and writing grants, fund raising from individuals, holding fund raising events, and prioritizing all your activities. If you are organizing or participating in a capital campaign, this is a must-have. I borrowed it so often from the library that I purchased my own copy.

If you believe in what you are doing, you cannot do without this book."-  Ethel Gerity
