Kidney Walk 2014 Season is Here!
Walk for someONE you love
with kidney disease

It's not too late to get involved in this year's Kidney Walk. The Mann family from Belleville set their sights on making dad, Kevin Mann, a Kidney Walk Champion. Kevin had lofty plans, and exceeded his goal of $1,000. On dialysis for 11 years, Kevin and his family are dedicated participants and Kidney Walk Champions. Thank you for your tremendous efforts, Mann Family!

We need your help to reach our goal of $850,000.

Register today at www.kidneywalk.ca or call 1.800.387.4474 ext.4961.
Your support makes
a positive, lasting impact

Your support helps The Kidney Foundation invest in many Ontario-based kidney research projects:

Did you know we are currently supporting 92 research projects. Researchers work in centres in Ottawa, Hamilton, London and Toronto.

Your support helps The Kidney Foundation help patients:

Nationally, The Kidney Foundation provided close to $1 million in short-term emergency financial support in 2013. This includes emergency support to assist with things like medication, and travel. In addition, The Kidney Foundation supports patients and their families to attend Camp Dorset each year.
Hey, caregivers! Don't forget your own needs

Family caregivers are a central support to people living with kidney disease, especially those on home dialysis. They help with the patient's day-to-day medical needs, and see first-hand the emotional ups and downs of being a kidney patient.
